That's some hole
mile 1320
Watch for rocks. Watch for ice. Watch for elk. Oh, and if you're a motorcyclist, watch for a buttload of cross-winds. Arizona and New Mexico seem to be riddled with them - I felt like I was in a damned sailboat, leaning twenty degrees into the wind. The Grand Canyon was pretty awesome (in the traditional "an awesome sight to behold" sense, not the cheap "rad skateboard trick" sense). I really like the history behind it and how much infrastructure surrounds it - you could probably spend a week there and not run out of things to do. This morning we also dropped by a nearby air museum that had a few antique motorcycles and cars as well. Currently we're stopped in Gallup, NM, which is the home of my famous Ford dealership.

I love your descriptions! You need to do some serious writing (in your spare time.....which you must have a lot of if you can spend this much time on a motorcycle...Ha!) xoxo

Thanks for the compliment, Jean. As a matter of fact, I do write when I have time - I've been working on a book off and on for a couple of years now:

That's as much as I have so far that's contiguous, still have a long way to go to finish the whole story. I'd love to hear what you think about what I have so far.
